Maestro Card issued by Eurobank EFG is a debit card. It may be used within the country and abroad at places with a MAESTRO sign. The card serves for payment of goods and services, cash withdrawal from automatic teller machines and bank windows.

Advantages of Maestro Card

Using this card enables:

  • access to money at any time or place, payment within the country and abroad (2.2 million stores in 42 countries in Europe and 2.7 million outlets abroad),
  • cash withdrawal from an ATM at any time (possibility of cash withdrawal /by entering your PIN/ from more than 242,600 ATMs in Europe, namely 463,000 ATMs abroad, 24 hours a day),
  • elegant and safe purchase and business dealings, with lower risk compared to carrying cash.

Method of payment

Maestro Card users within the country and abroad may perform payment of goods/services and cash withdrawal respectively within the account amount. All transaction, including those made abroad are disclosed in the Maestro card current account in DINARS calculated in compliance with the valid selling rate of Eurobank EFG as of the transaction debiting date of card account.

Payment card terms

The ONLY requirement in order to be accorded the use of an internationally valid Maestro payment card issued by Eurobank EFG is to be of age and to possess an identity card if you are a citizen of Serbia, and to have permanent residence respectively, if you are a foreign citizen.
You may have an open current account with Eurobank EFG, and if you do not, we will open a current account for you if your “Application for acquiring Maestro Card“ has been favourably resolved.

How to get this card?

In order to become a beneficiary of Maestro Card issued by Eurobank EFG, you need to fill-in the referred form “Application for acquiring Maestro card“, which is available at all Eurobank EFG branches.

Card takeover

You will be informed by phone that the card has been issued, which you shall take over personally, at the selected Eurobank EFG branch indicated personally in your application form, by presenting your identity card or passport for identification purposes. When using your card at ATMs for cash withdrawal or when paying for purchased/provided goods/services in outlets equipped with POS terminals, you shall identify yourself by means of your personal identification number – PIN.
